These wabi-sabi stoneware bowls are inspired by the small pools, rocks and worn surfaces I notice along streams and forest paths. The exterior is left raw and tactile, with an uneven surface that feels closer to stone or bark. Inside, matte turquoise and green glazes gather like water in a hollow.
Each bowl is shaped and finished by hand, so the form, texture and glaze vary from piece to piece.
They work beautifully as altar bowls, ritual objects, small serving bowls or simply as sculptural pieces left out on a shelf or table.

This one-of-a-kind large ceramic bowl evokes the movement and mystery of a stormy sea. Layered glazes in mossy green, ash gray, and sandy beige cascade across the surface like turbulent waves breaking on a rocky coast. Hand-thrown in stoneware and fired with a richly textured glaze that reveals itself differently from every angle.
The interior is glazed in a deep coastal green with natural variations and subtle thickness in places—offering a tactile reminder that this piece was formed by hand, not machine. Ideal as a statement salad or serving bowl, it balances beauty with functionality.

Food-safe glaze. Hand wash recommended.Hand-thrown in sandy stoneware and layered in a wash of turquoise glaze, this vase captures the quiet movement of the coast—where land meets sea and everything softens. The surface features wave-like swirls and foamy, cratered textures, echoing the rhythm of saltwater on stone.
Its gently flared form and natural matte finish give it a grounded, effortless feel. Whether holding flowers, reeds, or simply standing alone, it brings a breath of coastal calm to your space.
Wheel-thrown. One of a kind.
Height 19cm (7.5″), Base width 10cm (4″), Top width 9cm (3.5)
This hand-thrown stoneware vase captures the essence of a tide-washed shoreline. Layers of sandy beige, foamy white, and soft turquoise glaze flow across the surface like waves meeting the coast. The texture is subtle yet full of depth—bubbled and reactive where glaze and form meet, evoking seafoam and sunlit shallows.
Its slightly curved form gives it a gentle, grounded presence—perfect on its own or holding fresh or dried flowers. A coastal keepsake made on the Mediterranean, equally functional and sculptural.
Wheel-thrown. One of a kind.
Height 20cm (8″), Base width 9cm (3.5″), Top width 7cm (2.7)
Like a meeting point between desert earth and coastal tidepools, this one-of-a-kind rounded vessel plays with layered movement and shifting textures. The glaze palette feels both coastal and earthen—with layered colors of soft sage, turquoise and sand. The base shows quiet pinks and rust tones, as if worn by time and weather.
Hand-thrown in stoneware and glaze-layered by hand. Every angle tells a different story and this piece works beautifully as a sculptural accent or low flower vessel. It holds a grounded energy — elemental and meditative.
Height: 11 cm | 4.3 in
Width: 11 cm | 4.3 inThis stoneware vase is all about texture. Hand-carved and glazed in soft green, the raised pattern invites touch as much as sight. The glaze pools in the carved recesses, revealing warm clay beneath and adding depth to the surface — like filtered light through forest foliage.
Perfect on its own or holding a small bundle of flowers, this vase adds an earthy presence to shelves, tables, or quiet corners. It’s a piece that feels alive — organic in form, steady in spirit.
Wheel-thrown and hand-carved. One of a kind.
Height: 16 cm | 6.3
Width: 9 cm | 3.5This rounded stoneware vase is inspired by mossy cliffs and misty woodlands. The glaze drips from a deep green into soft whites and earthy browns, echoing layers of forest soil and lichen-covered stone. The surface feels alive — textured, yet subtle.
Its wide, low shape invites presence. It works well as a centerpiece on a low table, or tucked quietly on a shelf with a small bundle of dried stems or incense. It’s the kind of piece that doesn’t shout but stays with you.
Hand-thrown in stoneware clay. One of a kind.
Height: 12 cm | 4.7 in
Width: 14 cm | 5.5 inThe Layered Earth Stoneware Vase brings to mind natural landscapes — desert canyons, forest shadows, and deep water. The glaze flows in soft transitions: warm ochres and sandy tones give way to deep charcoal and a touch of turquoise at the base, almost like a spring surfacing from stone. It has a gently rounded shape that feels calm and grounded.
This piece works beautifully on its own as a quiet accent on a shelf or windowsill. It also pairs well with a single dried stem or a small arrangement of wildflowers. A simple way to bring earthy tones and natural textures into your home.
One-of-a-kind piece.
Height: 21 cm | 8.3 in
Width: 12 cm | 4.7 inWheel-thrown from speckled stoneware clay, this handmade ceramic bottle features a light turquoise glaze that highlights the natural flecks and texture of the clay. The result is a one-of-a-kind surface with rich character and charm.
This bottle works beautifully as a bud vase or for storing oil, vinegar, or herbal infusions in the kitchen. It also stands alone as a sculptural object—and looks especially striking when grouped with other ceramic bottles on a shelf to create an eclectic, artful display.
Height: 13 cm | 5 in
Width: 10 cm | 4 inThis small stoneware bottle feels like something uncovered at low tide — its rich, speckled turquoise glaze fades into charcoal and olive tones, with a hint of sandy clay peeking through. The surface is gently textured, almost volcanic, with subtle shifts that catch the light.
Ideal as a sculptural object, a single-stem bud vase, or as part of a small altar or vignette. It holds presence quietly, like a memory of water and stone.
Wheel-thrown. One of a kind.Height: 12 cm | 4.7 in
Width 10 cm | 4 inBloom began on the wheel, where I built the main body in speckled stoneware. I then worked into the upper section by hand, adding the irregular sculptural forms around the rim one by one.
That combination of wheel-thrown and hand-built elements gives the piece a very different character depending on where you stand. From a distance, the tall silhouette reads clearly. Up close, the openings, folds and overlapping forms around the top become the focus.
I used a deep turquoise-green glaze to bring out those surfaces while leaving the speckled stoneware visible underneath. The glaze settles differently across the curves and recesses, which gives the piece more depth as the light changes.
The form grew from my ongoing interest in natural processes and organic structures. I am especially drawn to shapes that feel as though they could have developed through growth, accumulation or erosion. With Bloom, I wanted the upper section to feel active and expanding, while the heavier base keeps the sculpture grounded.
At 42 cm high, it has enough scale to stand on its own as a focal piece. I would place it where there is room to move around it, since the sculpture changes considerably from one angle to the next.

This sculptural vase begins on the wheel in speckled stoneware, then I alter and shape the rim by hand to create the movement across the top. The form was inspired by waves breaking against a rocky shoreline, especially the way water folds, lifts and changes direction as it hits the coast.
Inside, a deep turquoise glaze pools across the surface and moves over the rim. Around the transition, a volcanic glaze creates areas of bubbling texture that remind me of sea foam caught between rock and water. I leave much of the lower body exposed so the speckled clay stays visible and gives the piece a quieter, earthy base.
At 33 cm high and 27 cm wide, it has enough presence to stand alone in a room. The altered rim gives you a different view as you move around it, which is one of the things I enjoy most about this piece.

One of a kindThis large ceramic vase, wheel-thrown with stoneware clay, stands as a versatile piece suitable for both standalone display and accommodating large floral arrangements. Inspired by nature, its exterior showcases a rough dark stoneware texture, evoking organic elements. The interior, adorned with a serene turquoise glaze, cascades over the edges like a gentle waterfall, enhancing the vessel with a touch of natural tranquility.

in H 17.3 x W 9This large sculptural vase has a broad, flared rim and a tall form that gives it plenty of presence in a room. The surface moves from turquoise around the opening through soft cream and ochre into a darker, earthy base, with the glaze settling differently across the textured stoneware.
At 39 cm high, it works well as a statement piece on a console, low table or pedestal where the full silhouette can be seen. I like leaving a piece like this empty because the opening and irregular rim are already an important part of the form.
The surface carries the marks and variation I look for in my work. Areas of exposed clay, glaze movement and small changes from the firing remain visible, giving the vase a character that shifts as the light moves across it.

in H 15.3 x W 10The Swell sculpture captures the essence of the ocean’s fluidity and strength. The contrast of a smooth, dark turquoise interior with a textured, frothy exterior emulates a wave in motion, inviting tactile exploration. Crafted with high-fire stoneware clay and glaze, this piece marries the material’s durability with the ephemeral beauty of natural water forms.
The inspiration for Swell began with a deeply personal and transformative experience. In 2020, I created a plaster cast of my belly during my pregnancy, which became a cherished memento in my studio. For a couple of years, the mould stood as a beautiful reminder of that time, but its potential for further artistic expression was unclear. In 2023, a moment of clarity led me to see the shape as a wave, marking the second phase of my ceramic wave sculpture journey.

I was in the studio working away while listening to @neilhimself’s audio book ‘Norse Mythology’. I got so wrapped up in the stories that I had to stop what I was working on to start painting plates with the visions swirling around my head.
The first was about Odin’s Eye, a metaphor for perception and worldly understanding. Odin sacrificed an eye, but gained a more sacred, divine level of wisdom in return.
This ceramic plate is a unique artwork to hang on the wall or place on the shelf. Made with stoneware clay and decorated using the cuerda seca technique. I draw the design using oil and oxides and then carefully fill the spaces with glaze before firing the plate in the electric kiln at 1250°C.

This Bowl brings the textures of the Faultline collection into everyday life.
Wheel-thrown in stoneware, I created the exterior surface through a controlled process of drying, compression and firing, allowing the clay to develop its own network of fine cracks and textures. Iron oxide settles into every mark, while the turquoise glazed interior provides a calm contrast to the earthy exterior.
Whether used as a serving bowl, fruit bowl or simply displayed on its own, it brings a quiet, natural presence to the table.

Faultline is an ongoing series of wheel-thrown stoneware vessels and sculptures that explores the same forces of pressure, fracture and transformation that shape the natural landscape.
Using a combination of throwing, controlled surface treatment and firing, I create pieces that develop their own networks of cracks and textures. No two pieces respond in exactly the same way. Rather than trying to control every mark, I work with the material, allowing each piece to settle into its own final form.
Each work in the series explores the balance between intention and unpredictability, where pressure, time and transformation become part of the finished piece.
The Faultline Everyday Cup brings the textures of the Faultline series into daily life.
Each cup is wheel-thrown in a mocha-colored stoneware clay and finished with the same combination of controlled cracking, iron oxide and my signature matte turquoise glaze. Because every surface develops differently during firing, no two cups are ever exactly alike.
I designed these to be the kind of cup you reach for every day—whether for water, coffee, tea or whatever you’re drinking. Comfortable to hold and made to be used, they bring the Faultline collection off the shelf and into everyday life.
Each cup is sold individually.
