Room to Breathe is a heartfelt exploration of art that embraces transformation and the sanctuary of nature and creativity. This exhibition marks my first solo show and I’m excited to share this journey with you.
I think of my latest work as a creative escape. It’s a collection to remind us that sometimes, in the face of loss, we find the space to truly live. I turn to art and nature as my lifelines—the places I run to when I need a breath of fresh air. They’ve been my solace during times of profound loss and grief, offering respite and renewal.
This exhibition features a mix of mediums, from ceramic sculptures that carry the weight of emotions to trencadis mosaics that reflect the fragmented beauty of life. You’ll also find mixed-media paintings that capture moments of inspiration.
Room to Breathe is a creative departure from my daily work crafting functional pottery. This opportunity has allowed me to break free, to explore the uncharted territory of my creative instincts. It’s a chance to breathe in the inspiration and live in the creative moment.
