    The Resilience ceramic plate is inspired by the woods following a heavy storm, when you can listen to the breaking limbs of creaking trees. Created using black stoneware clay with twigs dipped in liquid porcelain and glaze.

    This piece was chosen as a winner of the Fine Art Clay Competition from Artrepreneur.

    On the Rogue River in Southern Oregon, the water surges and swirls into Mule Creek Canyon, creating a wild and scenic place for adventure and inspiration. It warms my heart and puts a smile on my face every time I think of this magical place.

    The River Canyon Ceramic Plate is an original artwork carved on black clay. Inspired by my time spent river rafting.

    Created with the sgraffito decoration technique. I paint slips and oxides onto the clay and then carve out the design before firing the plate in the electric kiln at 1250°C.

    This artwork can be used in indoor and outdoor spaces. There are two small holes in the back of the plate for hanging with wire or string.
